Happy Father's Day!

Imagine a photo of Grandpa, Grandma, John and I having a burger and a beer Saturday afternoon at the 520 Bar and Grill in Bellevue. Have the picture in your mind? Good. Because that is the only place that photo exists. Good grief. Grandpa had a Lamb Burger. He offered me a bite. I oh so politely said no :)

Now imagine a photo of James stopping by on Sunday with wrapped gifts and big Father's Day hugs. Imagine John opening his gift and finding a new Blue-ray player and 2 movies. Imagine James setting it up and all of us sitting down to watch The Green Hornet (I suppose I mostly stood; but that's normal :)). See that smile on John's face (in your mind's eye of course)? Good. Because that is the only place that photo exists.

Now imagine Daniel and John hopping in the truck to head down the hill to Maplewood Golf Course and hit a bucket of balls with John's new wedges. Oh, wait! You don't have to imagine this one. I actually took pictures. Shazam.

Happy Father's Day (picture-less or not) to all the dad's in our family! Since we all got together last weekend for Grandma's birthday and we have oodles of family time coming up in the next month, we opted to let the dad's stay hone and do whatever they wanted. Hope it was a grand day for all!
