Storage Wars

Isn't that a TV show? No matter. It is our life these days.

We are still waiting for an approval from the HOA for our backyard shed. This is John taking measurements so he could create an architectural drawing of property lines, house placement on the lot and proposed placement of storage shed...all to scale. We keep reminding ourselves that these pain-in-the-patute rules make for a more desirable neighborhood with better property values.

All the same, they are a pain-in-the patute!

In the meantime we decided to quit throwing money down the drain on the Public Storage unit. Once again we put everything back in our garage (groan). The good news is we picked an absolutely gorgeous sunny day to empty the storage unit.

Thanks to papa's stacking and organizational skill we can still access everything on the perimeter as well as each individual thing in the center. We should have bought a house with a 3 car garage. Then again, maybe not. Definitely not. I can only imagine the amount of schtuff we would then be able to save, store, stack and organize (double groan).

When Storage Wars is all said and done we will have a 4Runner parked back in the garage and a shed in the back yard for all that schtuff!

It will look sorta like this.
What do you think about adding window boxes and a weather vane :)
