In addition to keeping mud-grass soup off the dogs and out of our house, we hope to do some repair work to the backyard lawn and garden that can't be done when the dogs have access to the area. Some of the work will involve chemicals that aren't user friendly for pets so our fencing must be secure.
Turns out Dakota is Houdini. Who knew that cute little chubby thing could squeeze under a fence? But that is just what he kept doing.
It is now fortified with stakes and additional wire fencing...we'll see if this keeps the master escape artist where he belongs.
P.S. Lenny is most unhappy with the new configuration :( He so dearly loves to run back and forth along the property lines baking at the neighbor dogs. Going to have to find a nearby dog park for the poor guy.
