354 Days

It has been 354 days since the accident and tomorrow is James' first day back to work. He is on light duty in the office for 20 hours a week.

Instead of greasy, grimy clothes, coveralls, steel-toes boots and a hard hat - he'll be sporting jeans, casual shoes and a clean shirt. I have a lump in my throat, a prayer in my head and hope in my heart.

There is a guy down below the steel beams in an orange shirt and white hard hat. That's James; that's what he used to do. There is a guy on top of the wall in a yellow safety vest and white hard hat. James can be that guy if he wants; just have to give it some time to find out.
